It’s my first time, what can I expect? To have fun, and an enjoyable, exhilarating experience!   There’s a whole games room designed to entertain and mentally challenge you and your team. What do I need to bring and what should I wear? You don’t need to bring anything! Everything you need will be supplied. We would recommend that you wear comfortable clothes and shoes so that you can move around easily; anything casual and comfortable.  We encourage fancy dress too, but nothing too bulky which might restrict your movement! Is it dangerous? No, not at all.  There is nothing physically challenging, and there is nothing at all to frighten you.  The only pressure is the ticking of the clock, counting down the hour! Is it difficult? It is challenging but not impossible. Our games are designed with different levels of difficulty to suit any kind of team. Start with an easier game and work your way through the different levels if you can!  The key to completing the game is to communicate and work together as an efficient team, but remember if you are stuck on a puzzle or a riddle, you can always ask your game facilitator for a hint. We’re sure that no matter which game you play, you will want to come back and play again! Can I ask for help? Yes of course.  Your game facilitator will monitor your progress throughout the game and will provide hints when you need them.  However, please be aware that in order to be counted as a winner, and appear on our leader-board you can only ask for a limited amount of hints! Who can play? The game is about engaging with your team and enjoying the experience of finding clues, and solving puzzles and riddles in a fun and safe environment. It’s suitable for all those who enjoy solving puzzles and other  mental challenges.  Play in teams of 2 to 6 friends, family, colleagues, or anyone else you want to share some quality time with. It is great fun for parties, team building, anniversaries, rewards or treats, and celebrations of all kinds! Is there an age restriction? While there is no restriction on age, the puzzles may be too demanding for those under 10, so they may not fully enjoy the game.  We advise you that children between 10 and 15 must have at least 1 adult on the team. There is no upper limit on age as there are no challenging physical aspects to the game and no fear factors. How many people can be in the team? The maximum number of players is 6.  We would recommend a minimum of 3 players, but 2 of you can play if you think you are up to the challenge!   Can I bring an extra person to the game? You can bring up to 6 people to the game.  So if, you booked for 3, 4, or 5 you can bring more people up to a maximum of 6, no problem!  Please ensure that all players arrive together as all players must be briefed at the same time to be able to play the game. What if there are less people than I booked? That’s OK.  It doesn’t matter if some of the team can’t make it on the day, but we recommend at least 2 players.  Remember that the game is a live event, and the room is set for a specific number of people, so you may find that the challenge is more difficult.  Perhaps you prefer it that way! Health and Safety Matters! Alcohol, drugs and substances Alcohol, drugs and other substances will NOT be tolerated.  Anyone under the influence will be refused entry and or required to leave the premises immediately.   As this is a live event, no refund or alternative date will be given. I am claustrophobic, can I play? Our game is in a good size room with a reasonable ceiling height, so if you are light claustrophobic, it should not be a problem.  Players are free to exit the rooms at any time during the game if they wish.  If requested, we can also keep the entrance door to the room open to make you feel more comfortable.  It may not be suitable for you if you are severely claustrophobic. At all times, participating in the game is at your own risk. I am pregnant, can I play? You can play the game if you are pregnant but it is advisable to have your team mates to do any stretching or crawling. At all times, participating in the game is at your own risk. I am disabled, can I play? Unfortunately, the game is not suitable for people in wheelchairs or on crutches. The entrance to the Real Escape Room is located on the ground floor, but their are steps to reach the games room. The game itself requires a certain amount of mobility. People with impaired vision or limited hearing can participate in the game as long as there is at least one person with full sight and hearing present. At all times, participating in the game is at your own risk.
